TOOLS_2019.zip (zip file)
Download this file to the root directory of the C Drive, and unzip. This will create the directory C:\TOOLS, with several sub-directories containing many of the tools we use.
AUTOEXEC
Automatically executable files set up standard SAS data and format libraries, macro variables, system options, etc. Autoexec executes automatically when SAS starts. Click on the heading for a sample autoexec.sas
PGMLOG
First program to run when starting a study. It creates the file that documents every program submitted. When the work is finished, rerun it to make the study book.
STARTUP
Gather basic information to document what a SAS program is doing.
STOREDOC
Store basic information about what the SAS program did.
Check SAS programs
Store BAT files in the directory TOOLS\DOS
DIFF.BAT
Checks for differences between programs.
CH.BAT
Check for error messages in the SAS log.
