This webinar features the Preterm Birth Initiative (PTBi) from UCSF presenting Nothing About Us Without Us: Why We Center Black Birthing People in Our Work. The presenters are Solaire Spellen, MPH, the Interim Executive Director of the California Preterm Birth Initiative at UCSF and Co-Founder of the California Coalition for Black Birth Justice, and Areca Smit, MBA, the Director of Communications and overseer of the communications strategy and team for PTBi. The presentation includes a brief update about PTBi, their current work and hopes for the future with a specific focus on several Black maternal health-related projects:
