You're Invited: MCAH Online Marketplace Virtual Launch Party

What: MCAH Marketplace Launch Party
When: Wednesday, December 15, 10:30am  - 11:30am

The Virtual Launch Party will be an open webinar to demonstrate the functions of the website, including signing up for an account, adding/editing entries, and downloading resources. After a short presentation, the webinar will be open for Q&A. Individuals are welcome to come and go as they please. The webinar will be archived for anyone not able to attend live.

The MCAH Market is a place intended for local MCAH Directors and related program staff to share examples of resources (interventions, assessment tools, etc.) and programs they have developed that other local MCAH programs could adapt and utilize. FHOP compiled the initial items that were "for sale" during the MCAH Action Meeting in October 2009 and has posted them online at the MCAH Marketplace website to get the site started. In the future, MCAH Directors and related program staff are encouraged post resources to more fully develop the resource bank for local MCAH programs, and in doing so provide a place to house the various tools and other useful resources that are now only shared via emails. The Marketplace website is password protected - you will need a Google account to access the site and to add/edit entries

To see an introduction to the Marketplace, how to access it, and its functions, you can view the short presentation given at the Fall MCAH Meeting by clicking here: MCAH Market Introduction (link opens a PDF)

California Birth Information System (CBInfo) and EpiHosp - Survey about Use

FHOP has created a brief survey to assess the use and utility of CBInfo and of EpiHosp. The results of this survey will be used by FHOP and the State MCAH Program to determine the best way to support and facilitate use of birth certificate data and hosptial data. FHOP distributed a hard copy of the survey at the MCAH Action meeting. If you already have taken the survey, you do not need to do it again.  If you have not yet completed the survey, please consider taking a few minutes to give us your feedback. Thank you.

Materials for CBInfo and for EpiHosp, including the software programs and the user manuals, are available to download for free from the FHOP Software Page.
